		<description><![CDATA[Those bankruptcies records are great.  My 3ggrand father had bankruptcy announcements in the London Times, then he left England; probably to avoid prosecution and relocated to South Africa.  He promptly went bankrupt there, and those records are truly a treasure.  They gave a complete inventory of all his possessions, right down to a deck of cards!  They definitely give insight into how our ancestors lived.  The records also contain letters written in his own hand explaining his situation - of course, it was the impatience of the creditors - nothing to do with him!  I had a South African researcher locate these for me and send me digitized copies.]]></description>
